2019 Teens Field Class # 2
We had a blast!
Eleven students could make it this time and the highlight activity was the treasure hunt in Parque Celso Daniel, Santo André. The group was split up into two teams, the green and the blue team.
There were five clues spread all over the park, and it didn't take them long to find the two first ones. Then they had a hard time to find clue #3. It was very well hidden and they had to walk quite a bit before they finally got it! The next one was pretty hard as well, but when they found clue #4, they raced to find the last clue that led them to the treasure box.
Finally, they got the last clue, but the teacher messed it up leaving the blue and the green treasures too close to each other and they amazingly found the treasures at the same time, but they were so excited about it that they ended up grabbing the other team's treasure box which was against the rules.
Well, inside the treasure box there were some chocolate treats for the winning team, and a dare task to the losing team.
After enjoying the treats and discussing the issue, they got to a conclusion, it was a tie, and two members of each team would do the dare task, a piggyback ride to the park main entrance. The strongest boys in the teams carried out the dare task.
Practicing teamwork in the outdoor natural environment was sure the best part of our Field Class #2 !
